Our Chippendale collection is inspired by Thomas Chippendale's 18th century furniture designs. Chippendale applied the Chinoiserie style of that era to his classic English look. Chinese Chippendale designs were embellished with architectural details from Chinese temples and palaces. Chippendale's seamless blending of English, Rococo and Chinese design elements set a new standard in European furniture design and created a classic style that has remained popular for more than two centuries.
